ATTENTION!
From Thursday, April 9, 21:00 to Monday, April 20, 2026, 05:00, Rijkswaterstaat will be carrying out major maintenance on the Vlaketunnel on the A58 near Kapelle. The tunnel will be completely closed to traffic in both directions. The closure of the Vlaketunnel will cause significant traffic disruption and extra travel time. During rush hour, delays can exceed 60 minutes. To minimize inconvenience for the surrounding area, we are already diverting traffic around the province of Zeeland. We will also keep you informed via WhatsApp, you can ask your questions via Ask&Go, and we are offering alternative travel routes. In this way, we keep the province of Zeeland accessible together.
